About the role
Responsibilities
- Install mechanical and/or avionic components, wiring harnesses, and high voltage batteries onto the Electron launch vehicle
- Work hands-on with tools, equipment, and facilities to build, launch, or test launch vehicles and components
- Contribute to the overall production and launch schedule
- Manufacture components to a high workmanship standard
Requirements
- Trade qualified in a relevant industry
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in precision avionic and/or mechanical assembly
- Ability to work to exacting standards, including cleanliness for oxygen service
- High level of eyesight for inspecting assemblies to workmanship standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of standard industry ESD policy
- Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions and drawings
- Experience working both autonomously and in team environments
- Computer literacy, including comfort with smartphones and tablets
