Vehicle Integration Technician

Responsibilities

• Install mechanical and/or avionic components, wiring harnesses, and high voltage batteries onto the Electron launch vehicle
• Work hands-on with tools, equipment, and facilities to build, launch, or test launch vehicles and components
• Contribute to the overall production and launch schedule
• Manufacture components to a high workmanship standard

Requirements

• Trade qualified in a relevant industry
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in precision avionic and/or mechanical assembly
• Ability to work to exacting standards, including cleanliness for oxygen service
• High level of eyesight for inspecting assemblies to workmanship standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of standard industry ESD policy
• Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions and drawings
• Experience working both autonomously and in team environments
• Computer literacy, including comfort with smartphones and tablets
