About the role
Responsibilities
- Install avionic and mechanical components, wiring harnesses, and high voltage batteries onto the Electron launch vehicle
- Work hands-on with tools, equipment, and facilities to build, launch, or test launch vehicles and components
- Contribute to overall production and launch schedules through versatile technical tasks
Requirements
- Trade qualification in a relevant industry
- 4+ years of relevant industry experience
- Precision avionic and mechanical assembly skills
- Proficiency in high precision crimping, soldering, and harness termination
- Ability to work to exacting standards, including oxygen service cleanliness
- Sound understanding of standard industry ESD protocols
- High level of eyesight for inspecting assemblies to workmanship standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both autonomously and in a team environment
- Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions and drawings
- High work ethic and initiative
- Computer literacy with comfort using smartphones and tablets
