Vehicle Integration Technician - Avionics

Responsibilities

• Install avionic and mechanical components, wiring harnesses, and high voltage batteries onto the Electron launch vehicle
• Work hands-on with tools, equipment, and facilities to build, launch, or test launch vehicles and components
• Contribute to overall production and launch schedules through versatile technical tasks

Requirements

• Trade qualification in a relevant industry
• 4+ years of relevant industry experience
• Precision avionic and mechanical assembly skills
• Proficiency in high precision crimping, soldering, and harness termination
• Ability to work to exacting standards, including oxygen service cleanliness
• Sound understanding of standard industry ESD protocols
• High level of eyesight for inspecting assemblies to workmanship standards

• Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions and drawings
• High work ethic and initiative
• Computer literacy with comfort using smartphones and tablets
