Vehicle Dynamics and Chassis Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define the development plan covering all chassis (Liaison Au Sol) variants and tire setups.
• Manage mission schedules, human resources, and logistics including tracks, transport, and vehicles.
• Lead and manage physical testing campaigns on tracks and operational sites.
• Define key technical characteristics such as anti-roll stiffness, spring flexibility, damping diagrams, and Electric Power Steering (EPS) calibration.
• Write mission reports, analyze results against specifications, and guide technical evolutions.
• Manage development anomalies by writing reports and proposing adaptation solutions to meet convergence goals.
• Provide weekly reporting on planning, results, and key milestones.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's in automotive or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in vehicle dynamics with an automotive manufacturer or supplier.
• Technical expertise in chassis subsystems, including axle elastokinematics, shock absorber technology, and Electric Power Steering (EPS).
• Strong proficiency in vehicle dynamics and PLM tools.
• Fine kinesthetic sensitivity to evaluate driving performance behind the wheel.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
• Valid driver's license required for access to development tracks.
• Strong project management skills, rigor, and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
