Vehicle Damage Assessor

Responsibilities

• Provide estimates for the cost of repair for damaged vehicles using manual and company systems
• Assist the Bodyshop Manager in overseeing all aspects of the Bodyshop to meet SLAs and KPIs
• Manage daily production coordination and capacity planning to maintain consistent workflow
• Conduct visual inspections to identify accidental damage and prevent uninsured loss
• Review site KPI performance, including repair cost targets and customer service scores
• Manage customer complaints from initial contact through to resolution and root cause analysis
• Communicate repair procedures and processes clearly to both workshop staff and customers
• Ensure all chargeable materials are recorded on job cards for invoicing
• Evaluate and justify bodywork warranty claims

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a vehicle damage estimator
• Audatex training
• Escribe training and adherence
• Ability to qualify and quantify required repairs
• Strong negotiation skills for dealing with third parties and customers
• Technical knowledge of SMART repairs
