Vehicle Analysis Technical Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform technical causal analysis for complex product issues identified in production and from customer feedback
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive resolution for high importance items
• Report problem-solving status and findings to Senior Leadership
• Perform functional and feature analysis to ensure conformity of production
• Support corrective action development and monitor implementation effectiveness
• Create standard operations for utilizing equipment in the Vehicle Analysis Center
• Lead and provide training to general assembly staff on quality standards and VDA requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 5+ years of professional experience in automotive production and quality control
• Hands-on experience performing technical analysis in a laboratory or analysis center environment
• In-depth knowledge of automotive processes, products, and materials
• Experience with VDA standards
• Proficiency in DMAIC methodologies
• Experience analyzing electrical systems and mechanical assemblies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Quality Management software

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Greenfield or Brownfield Automotive facility launch experience
• Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification
