VDC Senior Engineer

Responsibilities

• Facilitate problem-solving using technology and collaboration with internal and external project teams
• Coordinate workload for one or more projects with VDC Managers
• Ensure modeling efforts and deliverables resolve construction issues
• Track stakeholder responsibilities and contribute to the VDC coordination schedule
• Identify and resolve coordination conflicts using clash detection in Navisworks
• Lead clash resolution and coordination meetings
• Apply modeling best practices and company standards to produce accurate models
• Conduct quality reviews of modeled scope and confirm compliance with contract documents
• Train and develop the professional skills of fellow team members

Requirements

• 3–5 years of BIM/VDC experience on commercial construction projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Computer Graphics, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
• Strong knowledge of contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules
• Understanding of construction management processes (RFIs, Submittals, Shop Drawings)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
• Willingness to relocate and travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience mentoring and training team members
• Familiarity with advanced VDC workflows and emerging technologies
