VDC Engineer

Responsibilities

• Facilitate problem solving using technology and collaboration with project teams
• Coordinate workload for one or more projects with VDC Managers
• Manage modeling efforts and deliverables to solve construction issues
• Identify and facilitate resolution of coordination conflicts using clash detection in Navisworks
• Lead clash resolution and coordination meetings
• Use modeling best practices and company standards to produce accurate models
• Conduct quality reviews of modeled scope to confirm compliance with contract documents

Requirements

• 0–4 years of BIM/VDC experience on commercial construction projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Computer Graphics, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent
• Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
• Understanding of contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules
• Basic understanding of RFIs, Submittals, and Shop Drawings
• Willingness to relocate and travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Outstanding communication and time management skills
• Experience applying VDC best practices on large-scale projects
