About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop partner-level relationships with top venture capital funds and startup accelerators
- Drive adoption and revenue growth for OpenAI’s APIs and applications across early-stage companies
- Collaborate with Account Directors to identify and serve high-potential startups
- Design and execute technical engagements with startup teams
- Represent OpenAI at startup ecosystem events and speaking engagements
- Develop insights into regional startup ecosystem trends
- Lead programmatic engagement for early-stage companies
- Synthesize product feedback from startups to advocate for improved developer experiences
Requirements
- 10+ years experience managing high-value external relationships with founders and C-level executives
- Background as a venture capital investor, startup founder, or early employee at a fast-growing startup
- Technical understanding of AI technologies and the AI product landscape
- Proven experience owning revenue and business outcomes
- Strong public speaking and communication skills
- Ability to navigate diverse cultures across the APAC region
- Professional proficiency in Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean is strongly preferred
