Vascular Scientist

Responsibilities

• Independently perform a full range of non-invasive vascular investigations
• Conduct carotid duplex, venous and arterial studies, and aortic aneurysm screening
• Produce detailed and accurate clinical reports
• Maintain high clinical standards and work collaboratively with consultants and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure correct use and maintenance of equipment
• Contribute to service development and quality assurance initiatives

Requirements

• BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
• Current registration with RCCP, AHCS, HCPC or equivalent
• Proven experience in a wide range of vascular investigations
• Proficiency in vascular ultrasound equipment and reporting systems
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Vascular Ultrasound
