Vascular Scientist

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of non-invasive vascular ultrasound investigations, including carotid, venous, and arterial studies
• Produce detailed diagnostic reports
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Ensure all procedures follow clinical protocols and safety standards
• Collaborate with consultants and healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care
• Manage a varied caseload independently

Requirements

• BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent qualification in Vascular Ultrasound
• HCPC registration
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a vascular ultrasound role
• Proficiency in performing and interpreting vascular studies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent NHS experience
