Variable Hours Officer - Cardiology

Responsibilities

• Provide research coordination support for clinical research projects related to Heart Failure, including registries and retrospective data reviews.
• Screen participants for study eligibility and enroll them in appropriate databases.
• Collect and enter demographic information and study data into electronic data capture systems (EDCs) and CRFs.
• Retrieve information from electronic medical records (EMR) and maintain essential regulatory documents.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling research visits, managing study supplies, and processing subject reimbursements.
• Support regulatory coordination by collecting essential documents like CVs and medical licenses to maintain regulatory binders.
• Conduct surveys, questionnaires, and assist with quality control efforts such as reviewing consents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Health Science or equivalent in education, training, and experience.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with staff, faculty, and study participants.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of related research experience.
• Previous experience working in a large and complex healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of university policies and procedures.
