Van Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to and from treatment programs, medical appointments, and approved community locations
• Operate 12–15 passenger vans in accordance with DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety
• Document transportation activities including mileage, passenger logs, and incident reports
• Provide respectful and supportive interaction with clients using trauma-informed care principles
• Follow confidentiality policies and HIPAA regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and driving record verification

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience driving passenger vans
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services
• CPR/First Aid certification
