Valve Technician

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble valves and packing cases correctly and in a timely manner
• Test all valves and packing cases according to established company procedures
• Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Participate in company Lean and 5S initiatives to maintain an efficient workspace

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent related job experience
• Proficiency in reading O.D. and depth micrometers as well as dial calipers
• Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
• Ability to interpret various instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to solve practical problems and handle concrete variables in non-standardized situations
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 50 pounds occasionally
