Value Optimization Engineer (VOE) – Multiple Automotive Systems

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and develop cost reduction opportunities for automotive components and systems.
• Support the VO Driver in managing cost optimization activities within assigned subsystems.
• Prepare technical evaluations and support business case development for value optimization proposals.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and suppliers to assess feasibility and implementation plans.
• Conduct benchmarking and data analysis to identify additional value improvement opportunities.
• Track initiative progress and ensure timely execution of approved actions.
• Monitor subsystem cost performance and highlight risks or deviations.
• Prepare and present status reports, analyses, and recommendations to project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in Automotive Engineering, Product Development, Cost Engineering, Purchasing, or Manufacturing.
• Good understanding of automotive systems, components, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional and international teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Stellantis experience is considered a strong advantage.
• Specific expertise in perimeters such as Body in White, Stamping & Trim, Seating, Chassis, Braking Systems, Glazing, or Paint.
