About the role

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Domain Leadership, Product, and Engineering teams to improve value flow across Canadian Banking Engineering.
  • Translate enterprise value enablement strategy into actionable portfolio and team-level practices.
  • Identify systemic constraints and design structural or process-level experiments with leadership.
  • Facilitate inter-domain alignment to improve coordination between business and technology teams.
  • Coach Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and Delivery Leads on adaptive planning, flow optimization, and outcome-based delivery.
  • Use delivery data (cycle time, throughput, predictability, quality trends) to guide continuous improvement.
  • Support teams in visualizing and managing work using tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Cultivate a culture of psychological safety, transparency, and continuous learning.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Technology, or Organizational Design.
  • 7–10 years of experience in delivery transformation, product development, or continuous improvement roles.
  • Solid understanding of lean and flow-based delivery models.
  • Proven experience connecting high-level strategy to technical delivery and measurable outcomes.
  • Skilled in group facilitation, metrics interpretation, and leadership coaching.
  • Strong "power skills," including the ability to thrive in ambiguity and build trust across complex, matrixed organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within large, matrixed financial or technology organizations.
  • Strong consulting skills, including strategic thinking and tactical execution.
  • Experience implementing feedback-driven practices (Product, Engineering, Design) to encourage teamwork.
