About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of Value-Added Services (VAS) including product customization, kitting, labeling, bundling, and light assembly.
- Analyze VAS processes using data analytics and process mapping to drive efficiency and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, IT, and Warehouse teams to design and implement new service offerings.
- Ensure all VAS activities meet quality, safety, compliance, and customer contractual requirements.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent execution across the network.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as turnaround time, order accuracy, and cost per service.
- Support the implementation of digital tools, automation, and WMS to scale operations.
- Train and coach warehouse and operations staff on VAS best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in distribution, contract manufacturing, or electronics fulfillment.
- Proven experience managing kitting, configuration, or packaging operations.
- Proficiency with ERP and modern WMS platforms, including work-order or manufacturing-execution modules.
- Ability to interpret BOM, engineering drawings, and label specifications.
- Proficiency with Excel and data-visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt, or APICS CPIM/CSCP certification.
- Experience with regulated products, such as hazardous goods or lithium batteries.
- Experience with configure-to-order imaging.
- Familiarity with print-and-apply systems, pick-to-light technology, or collaborative robots in a distribution environment.
