Valuations - Senior Analyst/Associate

Responsibilities

• Lead and own fair value engagements for exotic/structured derivatives, fixed income, and equity-linked instruments
• Build, maintain, and review valuation models including DCF, binomial lattice, Monte Carlo, and Black-Scholes
• Calibrate models to market data and perform sensitivity and scenario analysis
• Apply US GAAP accounting standards (ASC 820, ASC 946, ASC 825) to fair value measurements
• Partner with external auditors and fund administrators on valuation sign-offs and committee presentations
• Mentor and review the work of junior Analysts and Associates
• Manage engagement workflows including scoping, timeline management, and quality control

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Applied Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, or Economics
• 3-5 years of valuation experience with a Big 4 or Top 20 public accounting/advisory firm
• Experience valuing debt and complex financial instruments/derivatives
• Proficiency with Monte Carlo simulation, Binomial Models, Thomson Reuters, or Bloomberg
• Experience working with Capital IQ
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field
• Python programming skills
• CFA qualification or progress toward CFA
• Strong understanding of accounting standards related to financial instruments
