Valuations/Pricing - Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pricing activities for equities, fixed income, and various derivative instruments in accordance with client agreements
• Monitor and analyze market data, resolving exceptions such as missing, variance, and stale prices
• Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams, including Fund Accounting and Corporate Actions
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for client portfolios
• Monitor client and internal queries to ensure responses meet agreed SLAs
• Review and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and checklists
• Escalate abnormalities and ensure timely reporting of issues

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Financial Markets
• Degree in Commerce, Finance, or an MBA with a relevant specialization
• Strong domain knowledge in Fund Accounting
• Deep understanding of financial products including Equity, Fixed Income, and Derivatives
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
• Working knowledge of market data vendors such as Bloomberg, Reuters, or IDC
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in different shifts and meet strict daily deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications in Financial Markets
