Valuations & Business Modeling Senior Manager/Director

Responsibilities

• Manage project teams and work closely with members of the Valuation Modelling and Economics (VME) advisory team.
• Advise clients on commercial issues, including acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, and transformation plans.
• Develop valuation approaches, agree on value measurements, and provide insights and factual conclusions to clients.
• Plan, prepare, and review deliverables such as Excel data books, written reports, and client presentations.
• Identify opportunities to sell additional services and support business development efforts.
• Create a positive learning culture by coaching and supporting the development of junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business.
• At least 8 years of related business valuation work experience.
• In-depth expertise in various valuation methodologies, market assessment, and financial analysis.
• Advanced financial modeling skills, including experience building complex models from scratch.
• Broad understanding of IFRS standards related to fair value measurements, business combinations, and impairment testing.
• Strong analytical, logical thinking, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous valuation experience within a professional services or Big 4 firm.
• Significant progress towards or achievement of a CFA designation.
• Proven business development skills.
