Validation/Verification Engineer, Senior Staff Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead silicon validation for NVM/OTP IP products through Design Validation, Characterization, and Qualification phases
• Define test coverage strategies for critical device functions and parameters
• Investigate and resolve complex functional and reliability issues and drive root-cause failure analysis (FA) projects
• Develop scripts to automate workflows, perform statistical analysis, and build performance models
• Drive continuous improvements in test efficiency, DOE methodology, and cost reduction through AI and automation
• Collaborate with external test/reliability labs for data collection and qualification testing

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor product/test engineering with NVM background
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Spotfire, Minitab, or JMP
• Knowledge of memory fault models and advanced test methodologies
• Experience with semiconductor test lab equipment including memory ATE testers, oscilloscopes, and micro-probing stations
• Proficiency in Python or Perl scripting
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Credence Kalos 2 ATE testers
• Knowledge of memory pattern algorithm development for ATE MTO/ALPG hardware
