Validation & Verification Manager - Embedded Ethernet Networks

Responsibilities

• Lead the global verification and validation (V&V) strategy for embedded Ethernet network systems
• Manage the V&V team functionally, ensuring skill maintenance and adherence to processes, methods, and tools
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Cost, and Schedule (QCD) commitments
• Define requirements for test equipment and ensure operational readiness of testing means
• Drive test campaigns, analyze results, and provide technical decision-making and arbitration
• Coordinate closely with development teams, program managers, and external suppliers

Requirements

• Engineering degree in systems, software, telecommunications, electronics, or an equivalent field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunication networks or IT environments
• Proven experience in technical team management or coordination
• Proficiency in English and ability to work effectively in an international context
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a V&V Leader or Manager within an embedded network systems environment
• Knowledge of railway Ethernet innovations such as TSN (Time Sensitive Networking), 10 Gigabits, or virtualization
