About the role
Responsibilities
- Support and execute validation activities related to process, package, and cleaning validations for consumer cosmetic and OTC drug products.
- Create and maintain the Site Validation Master Plan (VMP) and support the validated status of products.
- Manage validation execution for the introduction or transfer of manufacturing, packaging, and cleaning processes.
- Develop technical risk assessments, validation protocols, and validation reports in collaboration with SMEs.
- Identify critical process parameters and critical quality attributes in conjunction with R&D or Tech Transfer teams.
- Execute sampling plans, perform data analysis of validation results, and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Ensure quality and compliance by adhering to GMP/EHS&S training and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- 2+ years of industry experience is required.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and validation practices.
- Understanding of scientific principles for formulation development (liquid, semi-solid, or solid dosage).
- General understanding of process equipment, in-process control instruments, and equipment design.
- Knowledge of statistical methods (e.g., Six Sigma, CpK) and risk management tools (e.g., FMEA).
- Ability to apply Lean tools such as 5S, Visual Management, and Kanban.
- Competent technical writing skills and proficiency with MS Office and statistical software.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for consumer cosmetics, OTC drugs, or medical devices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Direct experience within the Consumer, OTC, or Pharmaceutical industry.
- Hands-on GMP validation experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
