Validation Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and organizational validation activities for multi-megawatt wind turbine gearboxes and drive systems
• Define complete validation plans based on customer requirements, design objectives, and internal standards
• Ensure technology and customer projects are validated on time, within budget, and according to technical specifications
• Act as the central point of contact for all validation-related activities
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise assigned validation engineers and test capacities using advanced test stands
• Proactively manage escalations and ensure transparency regarding timing, budget, and results
• Review final procedures and reports, aligning conclusions with design leads and technical experts to provide release advice

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Relevant professional experience in a validation role
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven project management competence and experience working in cross-functional teams
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Hands-on mentality with the ability to work effectively in an international context
