Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform physical silicon device evaluation at both chip and board levels and document errata to support device modifications.
• Deliver silicon evaluation plans, detailed reports, and regular status updates within agreed timelines.
• Develop software and hardware solutions for automated measurements to improve execution efficiency.
• Interface with core teams to resolve application-level system bugs and device-related silicon issues.
• Independently develop ideas to improve the silicon evaluation flow and maintain equipment calibration.

Requirements

• University degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Entry Level: BS with up to 2 years experience or MS with 0 experience).
• Knowledge of semiconductor production flows.
• Proficiency in Python for measurement automation and script development.
• Experience with system, hardware, and mixed-signal device validation and debugging.
• Knowledge of SCPI commands for communicating with lab equipment.
• Understanding of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, SVID, SVI3, AVS, and PMBUS.
