Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive product validation for low voltage discrete GaN FETs, GaN power stages, and gate drivers for automotive and industrial applications.
• Perform discrete GaN device characterization covering static, dynamic, thermal, and reliability parameters.
• Execute advanced device characterization using Keysight B1505 or equivalent high-voltage/high-power semiconductor parameter analyzers.
• Capture datasheet parameters and generate characterization data, curves, and tables to support product documentation.
• Build validation boards and develop automated IC characterization programs.
• Analyze correlation between lab evaluation results and ATE test results.
• Perform root cause analysis for product errata or failures and collaborate with circuit designers and system architects to resolve issues.
• Create validation documentation including compliance matrices and characterization summaries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical field.
• 2–5 years of experience in semiconductor product validation.
• Proficiency in Python programming for automated lab evaluation.
• Strong English communication skills for working within a global team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with discrete GaN device characterization and validation.
• Direct experience using Keysight B1505 or similar high-power semiconductor characterization tools.
• Strong understanding of power electronics, including GaN power stages, gate drivers, and motor control.
• Experience extracting datasheet parameters and creating formal plots and curves.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, cross-functional environment.
