Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform post-silicon validation on bench for automotive Ethernet application products, including PHY and switch devices
• Implement and execute standard electrical compliance testing
• Conduct analog characterization based on application requirements
• Perform PVT (Process, Voltage, Temperature) validation on devices under test (DUT)
• Analyze test data and generate clear summaries of results
• Support analog designers in issue debugging and root cause analysis
• Utilize Python to automate test equipment and DUT processes to improve efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 0–5 years of experience in post-silicon validation
• Familiarity with Python or other programming languages
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, VNA, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, and DMMs
• Ability to read and interpret datasheets, PCB schematics, and technical specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented, proactive mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Ethernet, SerDes, or PCIe protocols
