Validation Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Perform validation for infotainment and telematic products using test benches and vehicles
• Execute sanity tests, customer-reported issue testing, and full test cases
• Lead and guide validation engineers within project execution structures
• Coordinate customer communication and liaison with Korea HQ
• Analyze test results to ensure products meet specifications
• Create and maintain test cases based on product specifications
• Utilize tracking systems to report and track product defects
• Perform test bench setup, software updates, and field testing with OEMs
• Support R&D and DQA teams in North America and Korea
• Coach and mentor new validation technicians and engineering team members

Requirements

• Bilingual fluency in English and Korean
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in automotive validation (infotainment/telematics preferred)
• Ability to travel up to 30% annually (domestic, local, and international)
• Ability to perform in-vehicle testing for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs and setup benches up to 30 lbs
