Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to the Site Validation Master Plan (SVMP) and execute validation work across various equipment and facilities.
• Develop and implement validation documents and protocols, including VP, URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ, with an emphasis on aseptic manufacturing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new processes, products, and equipment.
• Assess, review, and approve changes impacting the validation status of facilities and systems through the change control process.
• Review validation execution and equipment changes performed by internal teams and external contractors.
• Manage project execution for Capital Expenditure and Process Improvement Projects within the EMEA portfolio.
• Support validation activities across all UK Compounding sites as required.

Requirements

• Scientific or Engineering degree (or equivalent experience in a validation role).
• Experience working with Hydrogen peroxide decontamination systems.
• In-depth knowledge of specific validation skills such as temperature mapping, airflow/smoke visualization, or Biological Indicator application.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of validation within a pharmaceutical, medical device, or FMCG environment.
• Strong analytical thinking and proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cleaning Validation or HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of Cleanroom systems, QA, or QC processes.
• Experience managing Equipment/Process systems.
