Validation and Verification Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead validation and verification (V&V) activities for automotive embedded software
• Examine requirements using DNG/DOORS Next and create validation plans
• Design, execute, and automate software qualification test cases
• Perform manual and automated testing using ECU-Test
• Configure and maintain HIL/SIL and dSPACE test environments (ControlDesk, VEOS, vECU)
• Manage defects, analyze test results, and ensure requirement traceability
• Coordinate with developers and cross-functional teams

Requirements

• Master's degree (BAC+5) in embedded systems from an engineering school or specialized university
• Minimum 3 years of experience in V&V, specifically in SIL validation
• Proficiency in Automotive Software Testing & Validation (V&V)
• Experience with HIL/SIL testing and dSPACE (ControlDesk, VEOS)
• Expertise in ECU-Test and IBM DOORS Next (DNG), RQM, RTC
• Skills in Test Automation using Python and C
• Knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, SOME/IP, UDS, and XCP
• Understanding of ASPICE, ISO 26262, Agile, and V-Model
