Validation and Verification Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform functional validation of train functions such as Air Conditioning, Braking, and Energy
• Validate and test TCMS wiring and software
• Validate and test integration of equipment connected to the TCMS
• Write functional test specifications for the train
• Execute test specifications on simulators and train test benches
• Analyze anomalies, identify causes, and support correction efforts
• Verify compliance of anomaly corrections
• Interface with project teams including Control Command, Systems, and Software Development

Requirements

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
• Over one year of professional experience
• Proficiency in spoken and written French
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Knowledge of requirements management and supplier management
• Technical skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Familiarity with ControlBuild, TestStand, Simulatio, and ClearQuest

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DOORS
• Knowledge of railway environment standards
