Valet Attendant

Responsibilities

• Assist hotel customers with parking requests, issuing claim tickets and explaining parking rates
• Operate customer vehicles carefully to ensure no damage is caused
• Maintain driveway traffic flow to ensure accessibility for the main hotel entrance
• Greet guests with a friendly welcome and assist with opening car doors
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding hotel features, services, and local attractions
• Assist Bellman with lifting and moving guest luggage
• Answer entrance telephones and provide accurate information to guests

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clean Drivers Abstract and Hawaii Driver’s License
• Ability to lift and carry luggage up to 50+ pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods
• Proficiency in reading and writing English for claim checks and room lists
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle customer inquiries with diplomacy

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior guest service or hospitality experience
• Prior valet experience
