Vacuum Truck Operator

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vacuum equipment in industrial settings, including hydro excavating, spill cleanup, and water hauling
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and on-site requirements to ensure safety and environmental compliance
• Provide exceptional customer service and professionally represent the company to all clients
• Complete daily equipment pre-trips and maintain accurate driver logs for NSC compliance
• Maintain detailed company documentation for all work performed
• Participate in safety programs, including safety meetings, near miss reporting, and job hazard assessments
• Perform minor equipment maintenance to ensure efficient operation

Requirements

• Valid Manitoba Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s Licence with Air Brake Endorsement
• At least 2 years of industrial vacuum truck or hydro-excavating experience (combo unit experience preferred)
• Physical fitness and good health to perform demanding industrial duties
• Willingness to accept after-hours calls and perform short-term travel or overnight work when necessary
• Strong communication skills and a safety-focused attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid safety tickets such as First Aid/CPR, CSTS, TDG, or H2S Alive
