UX Writer

Responsibilities

• Write and localize UX copy in Urdu and English across web, mobile, and app interfaces, including UI labels, error messages, and onboarding flows
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams within Agile sprint cycles
• Apply plain-language principles to simplify complex financial and regulatory content
• Maintain and evolve content style guides and tone-of-voice frameworks for both languages
• Partner with compliance and legal teams to ensure copy meets banking regulatory requirements
• Conduct content audits and contribute to accessibility and localization best practices
• Champion the user voice during design reviews and cross-functional discussions

Requirements

• Proven experience in UX writing with fluency in both Urdu and English (written and spoken)
• Background in banking, financial services, or fintech
• Hands-on experience working within corporate or institutional environments
• Practical knowledge of Agile methodology and tools like Jira or Confluence
• A portfolio demonstrating UX writing samples in both Urdu and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the GCC region with an understanding of local user behavior
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD
• Exposure to content management systems or design systems
• Arabic language skills
