About the role
Responsibilities
- Design high-quality in-vehicle UIs, including typography, color, layout, and motion across global brands.
- Deliver pixel-perfect, implementation-ready specs, assets, and reusable components for the global design system.
- Build high-fidelity prototypes to communicate visual, motion, and interaction intent.
- Translate product requirements, user needs, and brand intent into cohesive UX/UI solutions.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product strategy, and truck technology teams.
- Craft glance-based interfaces with clear hierarchy and intuitive system feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in UX, Interaction Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Portfolio demonstrating strong visual design, interaction design, and problem-solving skills.
- Academic focus in automotive UX/UI, HMI, or in-vehicle interaction design.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering for UI concept visualization.
- Experience with internship or up to 1–2 years in UX/UI or product design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automotive HMI systems such as clusters, infotainment, HUD, or embedded systems.
- Familiarity with automotive HMI/prototyping tools like Kanzi, Unreal, Unity, or ProtoPie.
- Exposure to AR/VR/spatial interfaces.
- Experience using AI in design workflows.
