About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and validate quantitative research instruments to ensure surveys are reliable, unbiased, and accurate.
- Develop and maintain a library of validated, reusable scales for core constructs to enable consistent measurement.
- Lead the design and statistical validation of client segmentation frameworks using latent class analysis, factor analysis, and cluster analysis.
- Conduct inferential statistical analysis, including significance testing, regression modeling, and advanced preference measurement (MaxDiff, conjoint).
- Define and enforce confidence standards for the insights repository to distinguish between statistically significant and directional findings.
- Partner with qualitative researchers and behavioral analysts to integrate quantitative findings into a shared, AI-augmented repository.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Psychology, Statistics, Cognitive Science, Sociology, or a related quantitative field.
- 8+ years of applied quantitative research experience with ownership of full study design through analysis.
- Proficiency in Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Item Response Theory (IRT) for scale development.
- Hands-on experience with segmentation methodologies including latent class analysis, factor analysis, and cluster analysis.
- Experience with advanced preference measurement techniques such as MaxDiff and/or conjoint analysis.
- Production-level proficiency in R or Python.
- Strong command of inferential statistics, including regression modeling and ANOVA.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing longitudinal or multi-wave research programs for trend analysis.
- Experience working with B2B, professional, or institutional audiences.
- Experience within a financial services context.
- Ability to communicate complex statistical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
