About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to inform product decisions
- Develop research strategies aligned with business goals and product roadmaps
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to define research questions and hypotheses
- Lead usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and ethnographic studies
- Synthesize findings into actionable insights, personas, and journey maps
- Partner with data analysts to integrate behavioral analytics with qualitative insights
- Present findings to executives and stakeholders to influence strategic decisions
Requirements
- 3+ years of UX research experience in digital media
- Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret behavioral data
- Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
- Experience with web, mobile apps, and OTT products in the consumer (B2C) space
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a subscription business, news organization, or content publisher
- Ability to evangelize for the customer through research and data
- Experience presenting research findings to senior management
- Bachelor's degree or MBA
