UX Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee key studio projects, ensuring high-quality output and establishing effective ways of working.
• Liaise with senior clients and stakeholders to take briefs and provide strategic value to their business.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams of 2–5 people from initial sketches and prototypes through to final design.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to distill business requirements and user needs into actionable insights.
• Design and communicate ideas effectively through diagrams, sketches, designs, and prototypes.
• Manage and mentor designers, supporting their professional growth and career development.
• Facilitate workshops with C-suite clients to drive innovation and product creation.
• Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure product integrity throughout the creation process.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working within leading digital teams.
• A strong portfolio showcasing complex digital experiences for global brands across mobile, tablet, and web.
• Proficiency in design tools including Figma, Sketch, and InVision.
• Proven expertise in user research, digital strategy, and content strategy.
• Ability to think strategically about product vision and "what" should be built, not just "how" it looks.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain design rationale and persuade stakeholders.
• A bias for action and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the public sector or on employee experience projects.
• Proficiency in presentation tools like PowerPoint and Keynote.
