UX Designer – Vice President

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX strategy and execution for high-impact product areas within Morgan Stanley At Work
• Translate complex financial and operational concepts into clear, usable workflows and interaction models
• Partner with Product Management to shape roadmaps and define measurable experience outcomes
• Drive high-quality design craft, including information architecture, interaction design, and prototyping
• Establish and maintain UX standards and patterns in partnership with the Design System team
• Champion user-centered practices such as usability testing, hypothesis development, and research intake
• Mentor and coach designers to raise the bar on craft and execution
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure design intent, feasibility, and accessibility standards (WCAG) are met

Requirements

• 9.5 years of comparable experience from work and higher education
• 5-7 years of experience as a UX designer contributing to successful product launches
• Experience in financial services, workplace benefits, or regulated environments
• Proven experience designing data-heavy dashboards and authenticated account experiences
• People management experience or a strong track record of mentorship
• Bachelor's degree in design or a related field
• Mastery of Figma and strategic UX design skills
• An outstanding portfolio demonstrating solutions for complex business and user needs
