About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software applications according to technical specifications and project guidelines.
- Analyze design requirements to determine necessary coding, programming, and integration activities.
- Execute testing plans, write protocols, and debug code to identify and resolve issues.
- Optimize code and application performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, updates, and bug fixes to ensure software remains functional.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and customer services.
- Partner with internal and outsourced development teams to ensure high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
Requirements
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years of work experience in applications engineering, programming, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C++.
- Knowledge of Agile Methodology.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in major programming languages (Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript).
- Experience with web frameworks like Angular or React.js.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and containerization such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of Microservices, APIs, and Full Stack Development.
