About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement software applications according to technical specifications and project guidelines.
  • Analyze design requirements to determine necessary coding, programming, and integration activities.
  • Execute testing plans, write protocols, and debug code to identify and resolve issues.
  • Optimize code and application performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, updates, and bug fixes to ensure software remains functional.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and customer services.
  • Partner with internal and outsourced development teams to ensure high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

Requirements

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 2-4 years of work experience in applications engineering, programming, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C++.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in major programming languages (Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript).
  • Experience with web frameworks like Angular or React.js.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and containerization such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of Microservices, APIs, and Full Stack Development.
