Utilization Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage client scheduling, service codes, and authorization details in MatrixCare
• Contact caregivers to resolve missed clock-outs, scheduling discrepancies, and GPS issues
• Track client authorizations to ensure proper utilization of approved hours
• Respond to scheduling, service, and authorization inquiries in a professional manner
• Run and maintain operational reports related to visits and scheduling accuracy
• Support the team by adapting to shifting priorities and high-volume periods

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint)
• Strong ability to perform high-volume, accurate data entry
• Experience navigating multiple digital systems simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare operations, scheduling coordination, or caregiver support
• Experience in fast-paced environments handling high-volume administrative tasks
• Previous experience using MatrixCare or similar healthcare scheduling platforms
• Exposure to authorization tracking or utilization management
