Utility Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate various Class A, B, and/or C vehicles, including pumper trucks, fence trucks, and container trucks.
• Service portable restrooms, holding tanks, septic tanks, sinks, and showers following company guidelines.
• Conduct daily pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections and report any deficiencies or faulty equipment.
• Deliver and pick up equipment such as fencing, hand sinks, and containers based on daily routing.
• Maintain accurate truck logs in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain communication with dispatch via telephone or radio to receive instructions and updates.
• Act as a lead on fence installation jobs when assigned a crew.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid driver's license (CDL or non-commercial).
• Strong time management, customer service, and communication skills.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40lbs, pushing/pulling up to 100lbs, and frequent bending, crouching, or kneeling.
