Utility Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance and troubleshooting on utility and facility equipment
• Implement equipment and setup improvements to increase energy efficiency and reduce breakdowns
• Ensure high availability of equipment through preventive and predictive maintenance
• Follow internal ESH work instructions and initiate preventive measures for unsafe or polluting hazards
• Utilize maintenance methods and tools including TPM and root cause analysis

Requirements

• High vocational education in Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical/engineering fields
• Several years of experience with HVAC, Chillers, Steam boilers, Compressors, and Pump systems
• Experience with Fire alarms, Generators, Fire pumps, and Wastewater Treatment Plant operation
• Knowledge of Technical Controls, Drives, and mechanical systems
• Proficiency in MS-Office software
• Availability for shift rotation
