Utility Operator I

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production equipment used in the manufacturing of animal feed and supplements
• Monitor production line efficiency to ensure timely loading and shipment
• Perform processes in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, including mixing, bagging, and spray drying
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report issues to the maintenance team
• Maintain a clean worksite to prevent hazards from chemicals and fragile products
• Strictly adhere to all safety guidelines and quality standards throughout the facility

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift 50-55 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and forklift
• Ability to wear a respirator in designated areas
• Basic computer skills for record keeping and data entry
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods in a production environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in feed, grain, or supplement processing/manufacturing
• Flexibility to work various shifts
