Utility Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile equipment including skid steer, forklift, lull, and front-end loaders
• Inspect equipment daily and perform basic maintenance
• Support routine inspections and maintenance of dryer, furnace, emissions, and environmental equipment
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and standard cleaning activities such as strainer cleaning and wash downs

Requirements

• Experience with heavy equipment operation
• Ability to work with little to no supervision
• Ability to follow written and verbal job instructions
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule
• Ability to work in outdoor, hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environments
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks like climbing, stooping, and standing for up to 12 hours

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Superior cognitive and systems knowledge to achieve production goals
• Proficiency in mathematics, measurement, and maintaining paperwork
