Utility

Responsibilities

• Provide essential support to the Tool Room by performing utility tasks and minor maintenance
• Ensure continuous production efficiency by adjusting sensors and performing electrode changes
• Communicate with robotic weld technicians to address larger maintenance issues
• Assist the Maintenance Department with PMs, 5S, and other operational tasks
• Perform duties required for production changeovers
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies
• Seek ways to reduce waste, manufacturing byproducts, and hazardous raw materials
• Make recommendations to enhance production operations, safety, and cost-effectiveness

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of related experience or training
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
• Fluency in the English language
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift/move up to 50 pounds in a plant environment
