About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day operational activities including loadout, physical labor, housekeeping, and sample retrieval
- Maintain, monitor, and adjust production equipment to ensure safe and quality product output
- Utilize computer systems to record data regarding safety, sanitation, maintenance, and processing
- Operate equipment associated with bulk material loadout and unloading, such as forklifts, skid steers, pumps, and conveyors
- Work in a fast-paced environment performing weighing, bagging, packing, labeling, and sanitizing tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding equipment operation, safety concerns, and maintenance issues
- Adhere to all safety, environmental compliance, and food quality standards to maintain a zero-injury culture
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
- Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs occasionally and move about a work site by ascending/descending stairs, bending, and kneeling
- Ability to work a 2-2-3 rotation (alternating 12-hour day and night shifts) including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in production or a similar industrial/military environment
