Utility Attendant

Responsibilities

• Ship, receive, validate, distribute, and stock delivered materials to appropriate end users
• Safely operate fork trucks to load/off-load freight trucks and transport materials throughout the plant
• Prepare and package items for shipment and communicate status via proper documentation
• Perform inventory cycle counts and account for transactions of small parts and tools
• Kit and fill small parts or tool requests for maintenance, operations, and contractors
• Adhere to all plant safety, food safety, and quality guidelines (GMP)

Requirements

• Qualified Fork Truck Operator
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Basic computer knowledge (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel)
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including hot, cold, and dusty environments
• Physical ability to climb stairs, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Maximo for inventory or order management
