About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance of light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles and equipment
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance and light fabrication
- Troubleshoot and detect problems in hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and A/C systems
- Maintain safety standards and demonstrate ethical behavior at all times
- Work overtime, call-outs, weekends, and holidays as required
Requirements
- High School diploma
- 2 years of experience in automotive maintenance
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain and/or hold a CDL license
- Physical ability to bend, kneel, crawl, stoop, and stand for long periods
- Ability to work in various temperature extremes
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-year Technical Degree in Automotive Technology
- ASE or welding certification
- Experience with hydraulics and diesel engines
- Knowledge of light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles
