Utility Allrounder

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks including housekeeping, kitchen hand duties, dining room service, mine site cleaning, and tavern operations
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for village residents
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet service standards and exceed customer expectations
• Uphold safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency in all areas of responsibility
• Live the HERO values by working with honesty and taking responsibility for kitchen standards

Requirements

• Unrestricted Australian work rights
• Valid police check issued within the last 12 months (or willingness to obtain one)
• Queensland Coal Board Medical clearance, including Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol clearance
• Standard 11 surface mining induction (or willingness to obtain)
• Safe Food Handling Certificate
• Driver's License and reliable means of transportation to and from site

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a remote setting or the hospitality industry
• First Aid Certificate
• RSA Certificate
• Forklift License
