About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, installation, and maintenance of plant equipment and facilities systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment malfunctions or performance issues.
- Support the development and maintenance of preventive maintenance programs.
- Collaborate with plant management and maintenance teams to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance, inspections, and safety checks.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to plant operations.
- Support inventory management of tools, parts, and supplies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in engineering or a technical field is preferred.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in plant facilities operations, maintenance, or engineering support.
- Knowledge of boilers, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to follow strict safety protocols in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Universal Refrigeration Certification.
- OSHA 10-Hour or equivalent safety certification.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and plant management software.
