About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, installation, and maintenance of plant equipment and facilities systems.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment malfunctions or performance issues.
  • Support the development and maintenance of preventive maintenance programs.
  • Collaborate with plant management and maintenance teams to improve performance and reduce costs.
  • Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance, inspections, and safety checks.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to plant operations.
  • Support inventory management of tools, parts, and supplies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in engineering or a technical field is preferred.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in plant facilities operations, maintenance, or engineering support.
  • Knowledge of boilers, HVAC, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to follow strict safety protocols in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Universal Refrigeration Certification.
  • OSHA 10-Hour or equivalent safety certification.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and plant management software.
